First Time Home buyers- Anyone do a major home renovation recently? What is the average cost of putting in Central Air?
They say this time of year is good for that because it's not in demand.

I didn't go it......but my guess is about 12,000.

Friends of ours said between $5000 and 7,000.
$12,000 sounds really high

just put in central air and heat in a 3000 square foot house. needed two units .. $12,000

My mom did it last year off season and it was 10K...not sure of the sq footage of the house tho...
She says 'best 10 grand I've ever spent!'

I did my grandpa last year...he didn't want duct work so we went with the mitsubishi Mr. Slim....18k later (5 units).

Well we have a 2200 sq ft house, I'm not sure how many units we would need.
