home w/ baby 101 fever/cough LONG

hey girls..she had a fever sun night...100..com mon it was gone..mon pm the day care called and rob picked her up fever 101 ..went to dr..said it needs to run its' course..if its 3 days bring her back. stayed home tues with her- pretty miserable but seemed to break in the afternoon..went back to day care wed...stayed the whole day but teacher sent a note home about a 'seal- like' cough..prob croup..suggested to put her in a steamy room ..etc.

did that
got up this morning at 530- didnt hear any labored breathing on the monitor..got dressed for work..went to get J as usual at around 620 and whamo-
fever again...and a barking cough
fever 101 ...gave tylenol;
took to dr..said to keep doing what we are doing...fever seemed lower...just continue with the steam...and a humidifier..should be gone in about 2 days etc

after stopping off to get some food supplies, came home, she was napping..immediately cried once in crib..so right now she is in her swing with baby neptune on...humdifier on....

This is running me ragged too,.,,,a lot of stress between work and fam issues..but we are always cheerful.playing/ calm around j

let me know if you have any words of wisdom....
anyone want to come over and watch her while I try to work??? or want to give momma a neck rub??

Hugs and Kisses and get well Wishes!!

Claud is right, it's never easy to have your child be ill. My son had croup cough a few weeks back it's rough.

All I can think of is when my son is sick is that it would be less painful to have my heart ripped from my chest than to see my son in agony and be unable to stop it. I think that all mothers feel that way. But I feel a little bit better when he's in my arms and I'm able to comfort him. At least it's something right??

Hang in there Mom!!
