Homemade Chocolates

I thinking of making homemade chocoltes for my sister's baby shower. I am going to go buy the molds but I am not sure what kind of chocolate to buy. What kind do you buy and where do you buy your supplies?

I'm pretty sure that I saw a section for this at Party City!

You can buy the chocolate and molds at Michaels or a candy store (not the typical candy store).....I think there is still one called The Candy People on Merrick Road in Lynbrook

Michaels also has molds, papers, sticks for lollipops, and the candy discs.

make sure you have a double boiler to melt the chocolate.....it usually burns if you put it right over the flame

A girl on BHB recommended this place and it is amazing. You will not believe the selection of molds or chocolates they have there. The man was very helpful and recommended the chocolate to buy. I'm sorry I don't remember what kind it was and I just checked the bag it came in and there's no label on it. They also give you instructions. It took me long because I wanted to decorate with different colors, but otherwise it's quick and lots of fun.
Good luck.
