Homemade Invites?

Homemade Invites?

Has anyone done this? Not convinced I want to drop money on something people may say 'no' to. If you have done this, how did it come out?

Homemade as in printing on paper from a store (blank boxed invites)

Homemade as in from scratch?

I have done both.

homemade like the box sets sold in stores. Problem is is that they don't give you a lot to choose from.

I bought a beautiful box set not for my invites but to use as my menus. I feel in love with one at Target that has a laser cut filigree pattern and heart on top. It was part of a set with all the other cards, but I loved it so I had to get it. The instructions were easy to follow and I didn't have any problems printing them. I used the other cards provided as note cards. You could definately save alot of money doing this.
