I was going to ask this as well. I need to find some asap too. Any good companies out there also?
From what I heard it is about $80 to $100 per month.

Re: Homeowners Insurance?
It depends- call around. I called GEICO which gave me a quote of $1760 (but I made a mistake because I thought that the house was powered by fuse boxes instead of circuit breakers)
State Farm gave me a quote of $890 a year and MetLife gave me a quote of $690.
It pays to call around, and when you do, it might help to have your inspection report because they will ask you about the power, heat, constuction of the house, square footage, etc. Most you will know off the top of your head but some things you won't.

Re: Homeowners Insurance?
State Farm gave us the lowest price and I checked 4 other companies. Also make sure you have replacement value on items inside your house that get damaged. Without it they will only give you what the item cost not what it is worth today to replace.

One Beacon???? This is what it says on the Mortgage Statement (since the HOI is part of the escrow with the taxes)

Well, I know we added my rings after the appraisal and I think having dogs increases it?

Re: Homeowners Insurance?
I got quotes from $975 to $1400. But the low quote from StateFarm was very low coverage compared to the others. Really compare the quotes and ask them to fax you the coverage so you can look them all over. And make sure you ask about the Hurricane coverage. They all have different deductibles.

Re: Homeowners Insurance?
We found state farm to be the best priced...ours ended up being like 800.... when looking around its important to see all the coverages that are included, like the liability covg amount..
