Homeowners Insurance - Who do you Use??

I am calling for quotes for Homeowners Insurance, any one have any good tips, or recommend an agency-

State Farm gave us the best price. The quote we got from Allstate was lower but when we tried to sign up suddenly the quote kept going up

So we went with State Farm.

Julz-

I got my first quote from State Farm, but want to compare....we have our cars under SF, so I would like to keep it all under one roof, but I think I can find the insurance cheaper somewhere?

We have All State. DH has his car insurance with them, so we just went with them for convience.
Keep in mind that alot of places will give discounts if you have all your insurances with them.

We have our homeowners and car insurance through All State. They were the cheapest when we were looking. But, we have my ring insurance with State Farm.

Allstate - We got a good rate because I have the car insurance with them as well. Costs could vary based on what you want covered and what riders you wish to put into the policy - for example engagement rings, equipment, etc.
