Re: Honda CRV

I bought a '99 CRV from Honda City in Levittown in '02. It's one of those 'peviously leased' types. I really love it. No major troubles. I bring it in regularly for maintenance/repairs. Customer service at Honda City is great!! The only thing I know about cars is to put the key in the ignition and go. HC keeps a record of all the work I've had done, and also mentions when certain things should be done. They send reminders to you in the mail. The only downside (if you can call it that) is calling for an appointment. You can either wait for it, or leave it there and are called when the work is done. Since I need my car to get to work in Queens, most times I have to wait a bit longer for a 'wait' appointment. Also, they open at 7:30 am. People wait outside on line. So even though you have an appt. it's like 'first come, first serve'.

Hope this helps.

I have a 2000 - was brand new when we got it. I love it! Has SOOO much room. FYI: if you want to have kids/have kids, make sure you get the redesigned one with the 40/60 back seat. Ours has 50/50 and car seat doesn't fit so great. Otherwise great car! Recommend it to everyone

I have a CRV EX that I got Sept of 2003. I love it - it had a great safety rating and got great reviews at the time from consumer reports. It does great in the snow, has TONS of room in it etc. You will love it.

It is great for camping or picnics as it has a little hidden table in the back - that I keep forgetting about

I just got a 2005 and LOVE IT. It handles awesome in the snow and is just so nice to drive. It is spacious for a smaller SUV. I actually recommended a CRV to a coworker and she got one and loves it more than any of the vehicles she ever owned (most recently a toyota rav-4)

I have a 2003 and LOVE it! My dad keeps threatening to take it from me when the lease is up but I will probably just buy it... Honda is a pleasure to deal with-- I bought mine in Babylon
