Has antone had problems with the paint starting to erode in random areas? I am and heard Honda doesn't put a protective coat on their cars??? I love Honda (I am on the last year of my lease of my 2002 Civic) and wanted to get the C-RV next, but am concerned about this problem . . .

I own a 2003 civic and never heard of this. FM Danielle&scott, Scott would probally know because he does detaling and stuff.
I have an 02' Honda Civic as well and I haven't had any problems. sorry!!
I have a '99 Civic I bought new so I have had it for a while and never had any problems with that. I am starting to have some issues with it now (will need new breaks soon and needed to have the air filter replaced) but I have been really happy with it.
i have a 96 civic and have not noticed that.
No I havent but I did get a letter in the mail that on 2000-2001 Civics have a recall on them for the headlights.
