Honest opinions about this invite, please

I have my heart set on this invite, but was told that it may come off as being too formal.

Is this true?
Does it even matter?

I'm having a snowflake themed wedding where the colors will primarily be navy and ivory.

I don't get how it's 'too formal' - it's your wedding, it can be as formal as you like!

i like them! the colors are unique, and i don't think they look too 'formal' at all.

if you have your heart set on them, i say go for it! why not? it's your wedding!

i think it's beautiful! a little too dark for my taste, but definitely a gorgeous invite

I think its formal. I also think its elegant, contemporary, posh, and bold. I love it!!!

I don't understand what makes it too formal. If you were having a backyard barbecue I might agree, but you're not.

They're a bit dark for me, but I really like them.
