Honest opinions please.....

Honest opinions please.....

Considering Im not registering for china flatware or stemware, I want to register for everyday dinner plates. The problem is I really like the 'new wave' collection from Villeroy and Boch, but its labeled as casual china. The dinner plate is on sale for $15.99. Should I register for these plates even though they are a bit pricey? I am registered with something similar at BB&B with the dinner plate priced at $9.99. What do you think?

I don't think it's that pricey for what looks like a 'specialty' item. (Very funky - i love them.) I say go for it!

VERY cool plates!! I love them!! I have a strange taste in plates though!! (these are mine)

I think you should definitely register for them--$15.99 isn't that insane--you only register once, right?!! (I registered for $45 towels--and got them ) Go for it!!!

as my friend keeps telling me - this is the one time in your life you can pretty much ask for whatever you want and someone will probaby get it for you. If you love it - register for it!

My only concern is they are listed on sale at $15.99. What if I register for them and they go back to normal price at $24 a plate? I dont want to seem too greedy, know what I mean

I think it's a good idea anyways to have some more pricey items on your registry. Parents and Grandparents seem not to mind spending a good amount of money. I would spend at least $100 as a gift to one of my friends getting married.

I have a friend that added a $400 BBQ to her registry list. I wonder if she got it????

Since you;re not registering for formal china, I don't think $24 is too much to ask. It's a lot cheaper than formal china so some people might be grateful.

They are so cute! And thats not expensive at all!!!! Even at the full price!!!
FH's cousin has 2 sets of casual plates on her registry and they are like 40-50 a place setting!

Plus some people rather buy you that then formal china anyway.. it gets used SO MUCH more often!

Def Add them, I put pricey things on my registry too- like someone said couple posts up its the only time you can ask for something and get away with it!!!! I like them too very funky and unique.
