I'm not really in a rush to pick a bridesmaids dress, but I keep going back to this one, But, I would like some opinions from you ladies first. Has anyone actually seen this dress in person? Does it look half as good as it does on the model? Would you wear it? What about the plaid? Would it be better if it were just a color? Also, is tea length appropriate for a summer night time wedding? (Not black tie) Thanks ladies!!

I love that dress- especially for the summer. I think that I've seen it in other colors too, and I saw a similar one with the plaid on top only, and the bottom was solid.

Hi. I am newly engaged and just starting my search and I also found myself drawn to the tea length pale pink or yellow dresses. I love the one you've chosen. Some things to maybe consider - have you chosen your own dress yet? I've been told that the styles should be similar in theme or feel of your gown (for instance, I found a straight shealth ivory silk gown that gives the 'sophisticated look' and the saleswoman told me that the 'cutesy' bridesmaid dress I was looking at would not go with my gown). As for the plaid, it's adorable. And different. Does it come in solids? And who makes it?

I absolutely love this dress! I put it on myself when we were trying on BM dresses. I picked the floor length version for my BMs.
Here are some things to consider:
a) There is a pretty poofy crinoline built into the dress to give it that aline shape. It is sort of itchy.
b) The pink is very cool...but VERY pink! I personally like pink and its a good color on a blond...but not everyone can wear pink so well.

It's cute- but I think if you have a lot of bm's the plaid might be overpowering. A friend was considering it but one of her BMs thought it was very 'young' looking. Don't rule it out until you see it in person-- it is so cute.

Thanks ladies! I really like the pink from the picture online, but I have to see it in person. I'll also take the crinoline into consideration. All three of my bridesmaids are blond, and I really think they'll look great in this dress, but I think it might take some major convincing to get them to agree. BTW Laura, it's by Jim Hjelm

I like the style for a summertime wedding. I agree you need to see the pink in person. The other thing is how it looks on the girls. These models are all very thin and the dresses lay differently on those with larger bust lines and hips. LOL

I think the gress is very pretty & perfect for a summer wedding. I would take your girls to try it on & as long as looked right on them I would go for it.

I think the most important thing to consider is whether your BMs will look and feel good in this gown. It is very cute for a summer wedding, but I have no idea how it will look on your girls. Let them try it on. Looks really cute though.

I think it is so cute and different, but this is clearly a dress that may not flatter everyone. Let the girls try it on. Hopefully it will work out!

I really like that dress, I think it would be great for a summer wedding. I would do what the other girls suggested and take your BMS to try it on, it is the kind of dress that might not look that good on everyone.

Such a pretty dress! I think it's perfect for a summer evening wedding, but would pick your dress first before deciding for sure on this BM dress. I love the color.

I think its pretty however, my girls wouldn't. With their shapes it would not be flattering at all. You should see what your girls think.

I LOVE that dress. I've seen it in the stores. I am pretty sure it is available in light blue as well. I am wearing one of his 2 piece ensembles with the same pattern for a wedding I am in this summer.
My girls wore tea-length dresses and I think its a great length. I got a lot of complements on them and I think they are more re-wearable then the longer dresses.

I saw this dress online and loved it - than I saw it in person and it wasn't as nice (in my opinion). Plus, take into consideration if your bridesmaids will feel comfortable. I was really considering a tea length BM dress but my sister didn't feel it was the most flattering on her. She said she would wear whatever I want but I wouldn't want her to feel self-conscious!! Just a thought! Someone posted a red tea legnth dress on here a few weeks ago and it was gorgeous - I can't remember who made it though. Happy Planning!

I'm looking for pink and tea length as well. I really like the dress but I just can't picture my friends in pink plaid dresses...know what I mean? I think its best if you have them try it on and decide from there
