Is it cheesey to use the song 'This I Swear' from Newleyweds at our wedding? Maybe not as our first song but after the ceremony? FH and I don't really have a song..and I'm having a hard time choosing our music.

their divorce is final...and i think people are definitely more team lachey...i mean, i personally was on the fence until that behind the music i saw on my jet blue flight back from FL....i'm sold. he won my heart...except that DH already claimed it...sorry Nick!
if you like the song, go for it.
Our 'our song' is sung by a gay man...no one realized it or cared if they did!
It's a love song...it will be adorable.

I dont think its cheesy or that it matters that Nick and Jessica are divorced....their whole relationship was probably a scam anyway so dont even worry about it!

THAT WAS OUR 2nd SONG
We danced our first song-our wedding song alone and then had the guests welcomed on the dance floor for the 2nd song and it was This I swear.
ALSO- before church began my two singers (friends) sang a few songs and this was one of them, I didnt hear it-hopefully on the video
who knows how many people who sing our wedding songs are divorced??I didnt care- If you love it, go for it!

I think it is a nice song and if you like it, it's not going to jinx you if you use it. Just because they got divorced it doesn't change what the song meant to them at the time and it was a celebration of their love.
