Honestly Do you Think it's tacky...

Honestly Do you Think it's tacky...

To ask my MOH for some opinions on what to buy my ringbearer, jr. usher, and FG's as gifts??? She is the mother of these children and is probably the BEST person to help me on this.... FH and I are at a loss as to what to get anyone... but since someone mentioned RB gifts, I figured I'd throw this question out there...

Is this too tacky???

I think it makes a lot of sense. She may know of something they would be really excited about!

Not at all.

My sister is my MOH and mother to my FG & RB.
I will be asking her opinion before I buy the gifts.

They live in Georgia and I do not get to see them that often, so it is hard to keep abreast of their interests.

I had an ides of what I wanted to get my FGs and I asked their mother what she thought.

I think it's a good idea!

Not at all....especially if they are her children.....she might not tell you to spend much but maybe you can get an idea....or if you can ask someone else that has children what they would do

Not at all. Our JBM and JGM were too tall and too old to be FG and RB so we changed their titles to be Junior Attendants. We both asked their mothers this same question as we wanted to get them nice gifts that suits their personalities and interests. We did not feel it was tacky to ask the mother of our junior attendants what kind of gift to get. I did however, kept the gift itself a secret for my princess JBM as I wanted it to be a surprise but her mother knew of course.

Good luck!

No not at all, i would rather give someone something they would like, then somthing that is going to collect dust.

Lauren,

I asked my RB's mom, a BM, what she thought would be a good gift. In the end, I got him a great toy .... and a sentimental gift from Make a Memory.

My ring-bearers were my cousins little boys, so I wanted to get something nice. I got them the same thing (they were 5 and 7 at the time). I got them kids Swatch watches - they were really nice watches, and the kids loved them. They were about $50 each, but well worth it!!! They still wear them all the time!
