Honey Fund (and other honeymoon registry types)

How much do these companies take out of your account/ charge you if you use them? I am thinking of doing it but do not want to be screwed in the end.

TIA Ladies!

with honeyfund you will not, they take no money out the only money it costs is if you want your page upgraded like mine is and that is a $30 one time fee.

It really is, you can use any travel agent of your choice too, it's a good deal as far as I am concerned!!! My SIL used thebigday.com and they took a percentage out and they had to use one of their travel agents. This is great cause u really can get the best deal for your honeymoon, so you can book through costco and get their great price. we booked through cruisecompete and got a sick deal!!!!! this is our honeyfund site http://www.honeyfund.com/wedding/dannyandren this is the upgraded template, that alowwed us to put our pics up and pics of the activities and items we wanted!!!!

I am thinking about doing a cruise around tahiti. Unfortunantly that 'season' starts in dec. So we are looking into a 'mini-moon' to get away for a long weekend right after the wedding (somewhere that will not be in hurricane season but wont cost the amount of a second honeymoon).

Then we will cruise in Tahiti in dec/jan and stay over for a night or two as well as stay over in Cali for a night or two.

We are just not 100% sure until airfare comes out this nov--- to see if it is really do-able in our budget. You never know with holiday season how much it can run.

....so we are just wishing for now!
