Honey Moon and your Bling

Is everyone planning on wearing their Rings to their Honeymoon or are you leaving it home? We are planning on going to mexico for our honeymoon and ppl are telling FH and I that we should leave our rings at home. What are you ladies doing?

i took my rings whenever i wasn't wearing them i left them in the safe in the room

I'm not bringing my engagement ring but I will be wearing my wedding band.

I wore mine....but we were in Europe, not a beach. Lots of people get 'travel sets' of much less expensive rings to wear while they travel. Either something very simple or a thin diamond band, or something like that.

I will get travel rings when we do a beach trip, I am sure. DH has one already

I'm taking mine..but plan on leaving them in the safe during the day when Im at the beach pool etc, and then will put them on at night for dinner and whatever.

This is exactly what we did and it worked out perfectly!!

I will be taking mine. I do know people who have left the real rings at home but bought fake rings to wear incase they got lost.

As we were traveling in Mexico, I left my real rings at home, and wore a CZ wedding band instead. I wasn't taking any chances...

i bought a fake eng. ring and band - leaving the real ones home. i heard too many storys that jewlery went missing out of the safe in hotel rooms -

I'm rocking my rings, weare also going to Mexico. My feeling is the rings are insured and while we are doing water activities I will leave them in the safe.

We went to Cancun...and I wore both of my rings and my DH wore his as well. We came back with all of our fingers and jewelry.

I bought a travel set. My center stone is my grandmothers so if I ever lost it I would freak.

I've been on two separate vacations since we got engaged (Las Vegas-where we got engaged & Florida) and any time we went to the pool, I just put my ring in the safe in our hotel room.... so I figure I'd do the same thing on our honeymoon

Which reminds me, I'm curious, how many of you sleep & shower with your rings on?

I take mine off when I shower... but I sleep with my ring on. Is that bad for the ring? (getting caught on things, etc.)
