My FH and I are torn between Sandals in antigua and Excellence in Riviera Maya, any opinions???

I havent been to either, but I have been to Antigua (Grand Pineapple Beach Resort- all inclusive) and it is gorgeous...It a very laid back place if you are looking for a relaxed environment
ETA: Just realized how much it is per night and its steep... I went there for the day on a cruise and paid $50 for the day to have unlimited food and drinks

I vote for Excellence in Riviera Maya, but that's bc that is where I am going for my HM!! It was more the style and atmosphere that we were looking for. It's a little more lively and sleekish.

i absolutely LOVED sandals....and they're voted as the best all-inclusive resorts for couples. I went to St. Lucia and another couple said that Antigua was still their fave if that helps! good luck! i'm sure wherever u go will be beautiful!!!!

I'm partial to Sandals! I love them! St. Lucia [Regency] and Sandals Grande Antigua are the 2 most beautiful places I've ever been to ;o)

I went there (punta cana) this april and LOVED it, wanted to go somewhere new for the HM
