SO my FH is totally in love with this resort 'Rosewood Mayakoba'. Its in Mexico about 35 minutes south of cancun. Don't get me wrong I think its beautiful! You get to your suite via boat service because all the rooms are built over lagoons. They have huge rooms with rooftop sun decks and private pools, im just concerned because its brand spanking new and there arent enough reviews about it. Should we me adventurous and just go for it (FH wants to book like now) or wait a few months? the website is www.rosewoodmayakoba.com and i have pics below. Tell me what you think

OMG!! That place looks amazing. I thought FH and I had a honeymoon resort chosen already. but if i show him this he might change his mind. we dont have anything booked yet just waiting to hear from my TA.
But this place looks amazing. I am a little skeptical to book because it is only open for a little amount of time. But we are both getting married in Dec and that is still 11 months away plenty of time for people to review it . but like you said you want to book soon since things are booking up! I am going on my honeymoon dec 26th through jan 3 so i want to book quickly because that is prime time for vacation!
is it all inclusive??
NO! and it ***** But its about 5 minutes away from Playa Del Carmen which is full of trendy restaurants, they even have a little italy, and shopping so we may not eat alot of resort food anyway probably just breakfast and maybe lunch. We plan to have dinner out a different restaurant in town or at the other resorts each night.
Good luck with those honeymoon dates FH and i actually changed our wedding date it was originally supposed to be 12.21 but when we started looking at hotel rates for the week of christmas and New Years it was crazy almost double the price because of the holidays. I almost fainted!

I KNOW!! The prices suck! We were going to get married in Sept. but my FH is going to Iraq until Nov so we had to change it. And I am in my masters and will be taking a jan session so need to be back by jan 4th so we need to go those date which *****. But i was looking at The Royal in Playa del Carmen which is right around the block from 5th ave which I am assuming is hwat you are talking about with the bars/resturants etc. which I like. BUT when I saw this hotel I was like WOW!! It is perfect even though it doesnt have all inclusive because like you said we can pick and choose were we want to eat now. And when researching playa del carmen i found a bunch of excursions to go on as well! So it is a great area. Just not sure how much it all is going to cost! ughh
