HAHA--not officially I didn't book anything I just want to have it there, the price is right, etc. The past week and I have my mom and I scouted northern NJ and that's the one I fell in love with. The bad part, my fiance wants to see it before I book it. (no problem) only I needed to wait until the weekend for him to come see it...
so we have an appointment saturday. The one drawback is that the ballroom isn't really a ballroom is a more relaxed atmosphere (half of the room is an atrium, and the other half is elegant but plain. He wasn't too keen of it from the pictures so we'll see how Friday turns out. We're going to stop in 2 other country clubs as well... so
HOLD THE APPLAUSE.. i'll let you know. I just got over zealous as usual and wanted to put something in my profile!! HAHA that's not too hard to believe given I often anticipate things prior to them occurriing.. uh hmmm my engagment! (IM TERRIBLE!)

i'm wondering what you FH thought of the place!
there are tons of good places in north jersey and i think i've been to them all! you will find the perfect one... but the ramsey is fantastic!

Well on Saturday my mom and I took my fiance two 4 places. (two that I had never been two) and the 2 that I had liked. He liked the Ramsey country club and I guess more than anything liked the price. The pics that I had taken didn't do it justice, so I knew he's like it when we got there. I'm off tuesday and wednesday though so I am going to wait until wednesday to sign any contracts. Today we might check out the Watersedge in long island city and possibly Ricardos, has anyone heard of it? Its a restaurant on Hoyt avenue in Astoria. After that I think i just need to lock in to my July date b/c at this point next summer is going fast. We'll see though, I think we need to stick with my gut feeling on this.. its so tough!!!!!!
