Honeymoon

Hey Guys,

I was going to Tahiti on my honeymoon but now we have to change our plans... we are buying a house and need to save all the money we can.

Can you guys give me some ideas of a some where to go that is exotic but not to expensive.

Jamaica and I think I heard St. thomas was reasonable. Also try Mexico. I am trying to get info on the El Dorado Royale resort. Not too much luck though.

any island in the caribbean is beautiful and has different things to offer... if you are trying to save money mexico and dominican republic might be the least espensive options

My sister just got back from Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, her pictures were amazing!

PS - if it makes you feel better, my travel agent advised me not to go to Tahiti because there is nothing to do!

You might consider going to Cap Juluca in Anguilla. The rooms are still rather expensive, but I think the airfare would be so much less than going to Tahiti. Good luck!

what about a carribean cruise? i dont know how much you can spend.. but a while ago i signed up for a few newsletters so i get great deals all the time from them. i've seen ones as low as $350 for a 7 night cruise.

Why don't you take a trip to Martha's vineyard?
it is gorgeous there and you can get a suite right on the ocean , it will not be expensive if you drive up, another place that it's breathtaking is NH by lake winnipasake, I been there and believe me it is lke you are in heaven sure it's not exoctic but it is very romantic. if you want further info let me know.

maybe Belize....it still offers the private bungalows.... my friend's thought capt. morgans (or something like that) was great!

I just came back from there and just wrote a long review for Bribri529 and all the other gals going there. It was fabulous. I highly recommend.

I've heard the same, one of my friends went there for their honeymoon, they loved it so much that they bought a condo !!!

I was going to do Disney but with all the hullabaloo going on, we have decided to spend a few days in solitude together at home after the wedding! Can't beat that for inexpensive! Some point down the road, we will do a very romantic trip when our finances recover from everything going on.

goto starwood.com and click on honeymoon collection... they have a bucnh of exotic places in mexico that i was going to do but ending goign on a cruise
