Honeymoon

hi Girls, anyone know a relatively cheap, tropical spot for a honeymoon. I was think of Nassau. Any ideas?

Dominican Republic is not expensive and the beaches are beautiful! My mom, sis and I went there 2 summers ago and it was $800 each for air and 5 nights in a hotel plus it was all-inclusive! Definitely contact a travel agent and they will tell you where you can go on our budget.

Some parts of Mexico are also great value for the money.

Yea we did a 7 day cruise outta NY to Bemuda (ahh i loved it) for like 1000-1200 each

At least you wont have to worry about food

We are staying at the Golden Crown Paradise Spa in Cancun for less than 4K (including air fare)

A lot of places in Mexico are not expensive. the domincan republic and aruba are cheap too

Yes, and I am a CPA

That date also has some sentimental value for my FH. His grandparents who died when Kevin was a baby were married on April 15th so we thought it was a nice way to remember them. And I get to get out of the last few weeks of tax season

Nassau may be 'cheap' but if you are staying there for a long period of time, there isn't very much going on there.

You may want to look into Cancun or DR, as mentioned. There are also a few cruises that leave from NY (which will save you the airfare) & you'll see a few islands.

Don't get me wrong, Nassau is by no means 'cheap'....I thought it was nice there, that's what I've heard but I've never been there. I went to Aruba and loved it, but I did think it was one of the more expensive places to go. I guess I'm just cheap
