Honeymoon

Can anyone recommend somewhere romantic that they have either went to or heard of for a honeymoon.

FH and I cannot go to Hawaii b/c we only have a week to take our honeymoon.

My FH and I are going to nevis - to a small boutique hotel called the Montpelier Inn (you can probably google it for more info). I have been very impressed with the customer service and it sounds very luxurious. It depends what you are looking for - but we are really excited about our decision.

I have heard Wonderful things from people i work with about Nevis-I bet you'll love it. I can't wait to go myself!

I've heard great things about the One and Only Club in St. Barts. A lot of celebrities go there too.

What about Aruba? I know a lot of people who have been there and actually like it better than Hawaii....

We're going to 2 places:

Weekend of wedding: Newport, RI to relax and walk around and enjoy the sites

March '07: Sandals resort in Bahamas - Sat - Fri! VERY AFFORDABLE (all food & drinks, taxes, & gratuity included plus our air fare was added to the cost for under $5K)

we went to a little island called virgin gorda n the british virgin islands... it was amazing! we stayed at an all inclusive place called the bitter end yacht club ( beyc.com),- and there are also 2 other nice resorts there- little dix bay resort, and biras creek resort.
it was so nice, because its not all built up and touristy. most days, we took out one of the small motor boats that the resort had- and we went to one of the other little islands right there, and had the beach pretty much all to ourselves... it was great! the resort was nice- the rooms could definitely use some updating, but the mattresses were new and comfy, and thats all that really mattered, becasue we were only in the room to sleep anyway... definitely worth checking out!
