Honeymoon

Honeymoon

FH and I are thinking of taking a cruise through the Carribean. Can anyone suggest a cruise line that they've used before? I've never been on one and FH has only once. We want to go in the winter after our wedding, so when isn't much of a concern.

I took one last Feb on Carnival.

I would not recommend Carnival IMO

The Islands were gorgeous, the boat not so much

Norweigian was great and would be great for a HM because they have that 'freestyle dining'. They dont force you to sit with strangers, you can eat whatever you want, and they have tables for two. This was all important to me when I went on a cruise.

I have been on a few Royal Caribbean Cruises and I would definitely recommend them! We did the Western Caribbean and the Southern Caribbean.

I liked the ports on the Southern Caribbean Cruise a little bit better (it could just be though that we stopped at all of the ports there, the Western Caribbean we couldn't stop at 2 places based on weather and a civil war in Haiti).

I have only been on Carnival ships...I would suggest newer ships though...Like the Legend...beautiful ship!!

This was years ago..but I went on a Carnival Cruise ship (Imagination) and it was nice. We had a GREAT time!!!

My friend just went on the new Crown Princess that leaves out of the port in Brooklyn and loved it!!!

I have been on Royal Caribbean - highly Rec. I hated Carnival.

I went on a Royal Caribbean Cruise and highly recommend them. The ship was beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff were great. Can't wait to go again!

DH and I took a cruise to Bermuda and the Bahamas for our HM on the Norwegian Dawn. It was beautiful! The ship, the staff, the food...everything was amazing! I have to mention that I also love the fact that they scan your on board card every time you leave and get back on the ship so everyone is accounted for! They won't just leave if you are late getting back on the boat.

I went on 1 cruise- to Bermuda, on Celebrity. It was awful.
Royal Carribean is what my cruise addicted friend loves.
Or the Norweigan Dawn.

Agreed. FH and I went on a Norweigian cruise in November and we loved it. We're planning on taking an NCL cruise to Hawaii for our honeymoon.
