For how many of you will the honeymoon be your first 'real' trip with your FH?
We went to Florida years ago and stayed at a friends place and in a Ramada (not exactly high class), we've been skiing, but stayed in the motel 6 or something like that, and we've been to my parents lake house in SC (they wouldn't let us stay in the same room). So, our honeymoon is going to be our first REAL trip together-- a nice hotel, a long flight. I can't wait!
His firehouse was planning a trip to Jamaica for February, but they cancelled it. I'm so happy because I love the idea of our honeymoon being the first.
Anyone else have the same situation?
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that his brother might ruin it by getting married in Peurto Rico 2 months before we do. (They were engaged first). I'm disgruntled about it because of the whole honeymoon thing, AND because its going to cost us ALOT of money that we don't have at this time.

We went to PR together.....But a vacation with your boyfriend and a vacation with your husband, i feel to be so different.... Ya kno? Just my opinion.....But really youguys are going to have so much fun...
Ouch about the FBIL getting married 2 months before you for a Desnation wedding isn't the nicest thing to do.....Does he want to take the spotlight from your FH???

Our honeymoon will be our 'first' vacation together. We went to FL together - but with my parents .. and we had seperate rooms. We also both live w/ our parents.... I CANT WAIT!!!

not us!
we love to travel together.... over the years we've been to paris for a week, italy for a week, spain for 2 weeks (those were the bigger trips) and have had smaller trips to california a few times, florida, virginia, and AC
but we're looking forward to a nice, long 2 week trip to (hopefully) tahiti, moorea, and bora bora together for our honeymoon! and i'm sure it will top ALL of our previous trips

We both love to travel and we also travel a lot for work so we've been on vacation together and lots of weekend getaways together. BUT I'm sure the HM will top them all

Same here We Travel as much as possible
Honeymoon will def. top it though. I hope we don't kill eachother spending 24/7 for 10-days together

Yes, it will be our first 'real' vacation together. We've gone places but I always told my parents that in order to save money, the girls would be in one room and boys in another. It worked. And also we went to visit FH's grandparents in Florida and went to Disney for a few days.

This will not be our first trip together but it will be our first long trip alone together. We went to Dominican with 3 friends, Cancun with 25 friends, Turks and Caicos with 6 friends and a whole bunch of in the country trips with friends and alone but no big, long, out of this hemisphere trips. So we are looking forward to our FP HM.

It will be 'kind of' for us - we have gone away alone a million times but only for long weekends to like PA, CT, VT and the we have been on two cruises with his whole family. So this will be our first 'big' vacation ALONE together.

FH and I have gone on vacations together but it will definetly be different on our honeymoon. Plus both of us have never been to Hawaii so it will be new for both of us!
