HONEYMOON

Have you booked yours yet? Where are you going and what made you decide to go with it? FH and I have been on a few cruises already and are having issues deciding where to go and where to stay any ideas are much appreciated

Yes we booked our HM this month. We picked Hawaii because we both really want to go and who knows if we'll ever go after we start a family.

We're going to San Fran/napa valley for a couple days, then to Costa Rica for a week... we are using a time-share in CR, and i insisted on being away for atleast two weeks, hence the stop-over in San Fran...

We actually went to Hawaii about 2 years ago and loved it, but wanted to do something different... europe was also out because FH has lots of family there and has been there so many times that its not really new or exotic... and we both wanted beach....

Flying to Miami...renting a convertible to then drive to Key West (the drive is beautiful) for one week and staying at the Casa Marina Resort.

Then Flying to St. Kitts, West Indies for another week and staying at the Marriott Beach Resort.

We booked our's 2 weeks ago. This was the biggest decision for us (more so than a reception location). I work in the travel industry and have been to lots of places (Carib, Europe, Tahiti) so it wasn't so much of going to a place we never went to it's more of figuring out exactly what we wanted to do.
We didn't want to travel too far
Didn't want to break the bank
Had to be somewhere warm and all-inclusive (we love to eat and drink )

We went with Excellence Riviera Mayan for 8 day
Ritz Carlton Cancun for 4 days
Perfect balance of sun, fun, relaxation and pampering without emptying out our savings accounts

We are almost done booking. We are going to London for 5 days, then going to a resort just outside Paris for 7 days. We picked this because I am a big dork and love museums and architecture. I also have some health issues that can possible effect my mobility so Fh said we should do Europe now just in case I can't do it later. He is such a sweetie. Plus I am freakishly pale so I am the sworn enemy of the sun. that helped narrow it down too No exotic tropical islands for me. i'd have to go into vampire mode.

My FI was going to plan our honeymoon and it be a surprise to me until we got to the airport. But the poor guy started stressing out thinkig he wouldn't pick the right place.....so we're planning it together now

We aren't even looking into anything until February or so.........can't wait!!!!!!!!!

Hawaii and San Francisco for 2 weeks. This was a huge decision for us. FH was up for anything, but I could not make my mind up between a Mediterranean Cruise and Hawaii. Hawaii won out because I want to be able to relax. I felt that if I was in Europe I'd want to constantly be sightseeing.

We are just waiting for our TA to give us a final figure (she is pulling all the strings she has for free stuff so we are content waiting). But we decided on Tahiti, BoraBora and Morea. We went back and forth with that and Fiji but decided that Fiji just didn't have the beaches we wanted and really when do you get to do a vaca like this again?

We havent booked yet, but my FMIL has a time share she just got for St. Martin so thats where we are going. We went to Hawaii in April (thats where we got engaged) and it was AMAZING!!!!

We booked ours a few months ago... We are going on a 12 night Mediterranean Cruise! My FMIL is paying so we are going all out hehe (is that bad? ) Hey if she is willing to pay we are willing to go!

We just booked our last Saturday. We decided on Aruba. 5 days at the Penthouse in the Bucuti Beach Resort and 5 days at the Hyatt.

I think we are too. It's between a cruise of the W. Caibbean from San Juan and Couples swept away. I checked on Sandals too...

Yes, we are going to Australia and Fiji as FH and I have always wanted to go to Australia and figure this would be the only opputunirty to go. We through Fiji in as we felt when would we ever be in that part of the world again. I can not wait!
