So we've pretty much decided after reading a ton of reviews to stay at the four seasons in maui and the hyatt in kauai. Is it worth it to spend an extra 500 on a prime ocean front room with unobstructed views...or just get the regular oceanfront room and have a 45 degree angle to the ocean and hope for an upgrade?? we are going to be there in november...what do u girls think?

Re: honeymoon
I think it really depends on your money-if you want the full view, get it! If not get the other room with the angled view. I would consider how much time you think you will actually spend in the room looking at the view? Or if you will spend alot of time out and about. I would also consider the fact that you may or may not be able to vacation like this again-I would take the full view b/c after the wedding and the money we are spending we wont be traveling for AWHILE!

Re: honeymoon
totally depends on your budget!
If you're the Donald or you have an unlimited budget, go for the bigger room with the full ocean view. After all, you only do this once!
On the other hand, the second room still sounds FABULOUS, and lets not get carried away.....you'll be in Hawaii........you still have ocean views......and its a room at the Four Seasons......you can always pay for an upgrade if you really want the other room........right?

Since your not traveling in the peak seaon I would save the extra $500 and hope for the upgrade.
