I'm trying to decide between travel agent or booking ourselves...Any thoughts.
Does anyone know of a good travel agent? I'm so new at this

must must must use a travel agent! you can never get the same deals PLUS they will take care of everything for you (transfers to and from airport, etc.)

Definitely use a TA!!
We went to Liberty Travel in Selden and worked with Lauren- she was great. Liberty has a good relationship with Sandals (where we are going) so we wanted to book with them. We were even able to pick which building we wanted to stay in! They also can get you the best deals with the flights so I would definitely consider using one.
You can do a lot of research on your own and then go to one, maybe? Good luck!

I would def do it through a travel agent. They'll save you more $ {ours did} ans they will take care of all the details, flight, ect, all the stuff that u cant be bothered w/ do to a million in a half things going on w/ the wedding!
I have a great travel agent, FM if u want info.
Where are you looking at going- Hawaii, Tahiti, Boar Bora, Sandals. . . . ??

I think it depends on where you are going. FH & I travel once a month, and we book most of our trips ourselves. As for our HM, we booked through a TA b/c I couldn't get the interisland flights that I wanted and the stop over on the way home from Hawaii. I love my TA Robin from G.A.P Travel in Wantagh, she's awesome!!!
