Honeymoon
We have just booked our honeymoon. We are staying at the Princeville in Kauai, the 4 seasons in Maui and Mauna lani Bay in Kona. Does anyone have any feedback about these places?

Re: Honeymoon
I stayed at the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel last July (2001).It was beautiful. What an island!!! The service was great, the room was beautiful and forget about the views!!!!
I scan some photos in for you if ya' want (or you may want to wait and keep it a surprise.)
I kept seeing Bruce Willis walking around with a buddy by the pool.

MUSTS: horseback riding in Waimea Valley, helicopter ride over the volcanoes and lots of driving! The Island is very unique!!! We went deep sea fishing too, but that's not so fun if you're not into it. (I was hungover, so that made it worse!)

If ya wanna know anything, just ask away!
We didn't make it to Maui, but that's definitely on our list. It also came highly recommended by Hawaiians!

Re: Honeymoon
I stayed at the Four Seasons in Maui for my honeymoon in early July. We got a mountain view room which was an awesome deal -- $350 for room, breakfast, and rental car. However, it really should have been called parking lot/road view. I was disappointed, but it would have cost us about $150/night to upgrade so we decided to stay and save the money for something fun when we got home. The room itself was beautiful, and the grounds are immaculate -- I saw someone scrubbing the grout around the pool with basically a toothbrush. Lots of spoiled/loud kids running around the pool, but you can get quiet/private spot to sit on the hillside between the pool and beach. The beach was beautiful as well. Definately buy the oceanside couples massage -- it was great! :)

Re: Honeymoon
I will be staying at the Fairmont Kea Lani in October. I'll be happy to report back after that! (but I have heard wonderful things about it!)

Re: Honeymoon
I stayed at the Fairmont Kea Lani on my honeymoon in June. It was wonderful, the room is HUGE, with a separate living room, very big bathroom and a large balcony. There are 3 pools, one for adults only, as well as the beach. The service is wonderful. many people rave about the restaurant there, Nick's Fishmarket, but we did not get a chance to go. If you have any questions, about the hotel, feel free to ask!

Re: Honeymoon
My Fh and I travel a lot.The Princeville is by far the most amazing place we have been. The rooms are beautiful the lobby is breathtaking! The pool is amazing.
You will love it!
We are also going to Hawaii for honeymoon but we are going to Maui. Have been to Maui 2x and Kaui once. Stayed at the Princeville and the Hyatt on Kaui. Be aware the Princeville is on the north side of the island. It is a little more rainy, but it rains a little then stops. Definitely expore if you are renting a car and staying for a while.
If you have any questions feel free to forum mail me.
Have a Great time, you will love it!
Edited to add I don't know anything about the hotel you are staying at in Maui. But, you can't go wrong with the four seasons!
P.S. Is the wedding date on your profile correct? If it is I can't believe you have booked so early! We just did it last week and I'm getting married in 5 weeks! (we procratinate something awful w/ travel)
