Are any of you allowing FH to decide on his own? Or don't care too much about it?
Like all i know is i want it hott sunny and beautiful all inclusive...
so FH is huge on traveling and it is like his special project. i honestly think i will let him pick the place and do all the specifics...
he wants to do this so its great.
does anyone else feel how I feel? like i just want it to be fun and relaxin...
just askin ur opinions on it..

Ive seen alot of girls leaving it up to their Fh so you're def not the only one.
If i left it up to Fh we'd spend the whole time in Vegas lol. But we actually have been planning it together and came up with the perfect honeymoon for us, vegas and Tahiti, partying, gambling and then relaxation in paradise lol

My DF will be planning the honeymoon and not telling me the destination until we arrive at the airport. I only told him that I would like it to be Tropical (so I can pack accordingly). I am kind of excited about not knowing what kind of suite he books or the island.....Its a nice little surprise for me after months and months of planning the wedding!

we definately planned it together. If I left it up to him we would spend all week at home working on his truck.

were planning it together..we were going to go on an alaskan cruise..which we still might
but also we were thinking of just staying in NY and staying in the City for like 10 days..even though i grew up there..ihardly ever went..ive never done the tourist like things..except for the empire state building and hes never been
we seriously might do thins so we dont have to fly to another destination and can do it pretty cheap too..maybe see a play..more things too..

good idea! alaskan cruise is somethign fh and i have on our to do list..along with italy...i heard the alaskan cruise is beautiful and wonderful!
i havent done much in NY either...and im born n raised here.

I think if I left it up to FH we'd end up 'thinking' we're going to Tahitit and end up with a one way ticket to Afganistan with reservations to stay in the same tent with Osama
With that in mind we'll be planning it together

We are planning it together. Fh and I have always wanted to go to Hawaii, so that where will be going. FH already has a list of things he wants to do, Like snorkeling, hiking and just relaxing. It should be so much fun!!! I cna't wait!

ive been on the alaskan cruise and its awesome...its long though..its about 2 weeks..but there is so much to do and see that you have to go on the full one

I could never do it though - i love planning vacations and i am looking forward to st lucia more than the wedding ha ha
also he was supposed to plan a trip ONCE about three years ago - all i wanted was a cruise, didnt care where. Well, I was in school so we could only go in January during winter break. All through my birthday and Christmas I was waiting for one present to be the cruise - and it never happened! I tried so hard not to nag, but maybe I should have bc he waited until the last minute and never planned anything. I seriously cried from Christmas to New Year's every single day all day I was so dissapointed. Well, at the last minute we planned a quick trip to Fla and had fun and everything but the whole time I really resented him. After that - I plan every single detail of every vacation bc i dont want to be disappointed again.
PS oh yeah and before we realized we could go to Fla - i booked a weekend in the most expensive suite in Foxwoods and we stayed for 4 nights and put it on his credit card. . . i am spiteful oh well!
PS sorry this is so long - but i booked st lucia, not sure if i told you yet YAY! 7 nights, all inclusive woohoo!

FH actually wanted to plan it since I've done all the research for the wedding. However, I can't help myself and did my own research and sent it to him.
He is totally ignoring me... He said, it will be a surprise but I'm a bit anxious so I sent him options.
Sorry but I planned all our vacations from the past eight years so I'm not used of him handling it!!!

I would LOVE to let FH plan it - but I think I'm borderline control freak... Like, I get uber-angry if he's co-pilot and doesn't tell me the directions like 5 steps ahead.
So to keep the peace we're planning it together...

I am letting him do it on his own....I didnt want to know but he told me he wants to do Ireland and Italy....so I complained and said I want a beach at some point in our honeymoon...I wish he didnt let me know!

That's a good idea, I may let FH plan our honeymoon, its one of the only things he cares about (and the music we have...). That way I won't have to worry about it, I know he'll do something good!
