We went on a 7 day cruise to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Haiti, & Cozumel we loved it!! We also turned it into a 10 day trip cause we stayed in Florida after the cruise was over.

Oh that might be an Idea take a cruise then go somewhere else afterwards!!! I think FH wants to do 2 places!!! :)

My sister did a cruise to st thomas, st maarten and another island for hers .. she loved it. I think they went down to mexico, stayed 3 nights in aruba and then went on a 7 day cruise.

I am going to Alaska, but I doubt you are interested in that idea Not many people are - it will be cold and NOT a cruise.

Be careful cuz you will be in Hurricane Season....So will I - We are going to Dreams in Cabo San Lucas Mexico!! It looks amazing and the price was right!! We went through Liberty Travel - I am soooo excited!!!

It really comes down to your personal preferences. do you wnt a beach HM, beautiful architecture, ancient cities, jungle, lux travel, international, different culture, more continental destination etc...

Also, it depends on your budget, time of year, and how far you're willing to fly. If i had to rebook my HM I would do thailand or fiji. my first choice is still greek islands though. i was looking at hotels in thailand today b/c I never stop looking and found some btwn $100 and $200 a day and i would split it btwn beach and city.

I think with the asia and S.A. HMs you really need local recommendations to get your $$$'s worth.

To make it a little easier you might want to break it down by budget. if you do asia or europe i would bet on at least 10k for two weeks, unless you go during off-peak or find some good deals. I would imagine you can do most of the central and south american destinations for 3K and up depending on how far and the place you are staying. I know some amazing places that are $25 a night. it really depends where.

Most places in the US would be about 5K-8K, e.g. AZ, NV, NM, TX, CA unless you are booking 5* hotels. You save a lot on airfare as opposed to asia and europe, so that brings down the price.

well what type of honeymoon are you looking for? a beachy relaxing honeymoon. Maybe sightseeing and lots to do. I think people can recommend more places once they know more info.

We are getting married the week after you and we are going to Vegas (I think, still need to finalize). Both of us have never been there and think it will be nice. Originally we were looking at St. Croix, but Liberty Travel actually convinced us NOT to go becuase of hurricaine season.

It all depsends upon what you & fh like. FH & I did not want to worry about anything, where to go for dinner, renting a car, etc. so we chose an all inclusive resort - specifically sandals - St.lucia. It includes, meals, alcohol, water sports and lots of lounging on the beach . But that is what we wnated. They have them all over the place - jamaica, bahamas, check out their website. You could even split your honeyoon between 2 places.

It really all depends on what your looking for...
We are going to Greece and Greek islands!!! It is more on the pricier side than Caribbean or Mexico, but we figured you only go on Honeymoon once, so why not splurge

Just be aware that it is still hurricane season, when your planning so get insurance that way you can switch if something happens.
