Honeymoon

So where is everyone going? Anyone doing a cruise?

I keep going back and forth.... I had originally had my heart set on Turks and Caicos, but am rethinking my choice as I have not heard good things...

Any thoughts!?

We're thinking about Bicuti Beach in Aruba. Its hurricane season for our wedding so we were nervous about most places.

oh my goodness we wanted to go there so badly..but its out of our budget and its not all inclusive and restaurants in aruba are pricey! But, i can tell you that i have relatives who went there for their honeymoon and had an amazing time!

We are going to Sandals Grande St. Lucia!

What made you pick that Sandals in St.Lucia vs the other two?

Re: Honeymoon

We were 99% sure we were doing St. Lucia until today... does anyone know anything about Club Med's? That had some, like in Bora Bora and Maldives with the little hut houses right over the ocean for so cheap!!

I feel like there must be a reason they're not crazy expensive though...

Re: Honeymoon

We haven't booked anything yet obviously, too far out, but our number one choice would be Greece. Maybe a week in either Santorini or Mykonos, then a few days in the rural part with FH's family (I know, I know, but if it saves on hotel rates...), then finishing out in Athens. I don't know if it will be feasible now though with the exchange rate, darn Euro, why couldn't they still be on the drachma??? We're not really into the island thing, so hopefully we'll be able to swing it with the budget. We're not going to go until the summer after for weather reasons, so hopefully by June or July '10 the dollar will strengthen back up.

Next week we are booking Royal Hideaway Riviera Maya...adult only on inclusive...9 night 10 days...it looks amazing!!! I think I'm looking more foward to the honeymoon.

Re: Honeymoon

we are thinking about a family moon we would both just feel odd going away without the kiddo.

so we were tossing around the idea of doing one of the disney adventures europe trips. most likely ireland or germany.

I am working on the Honeymoon right now and driving myself crazy we really wantto go to Bora Bora but its expensive so we are starting to look at St. Lucia and Rivera Maya in Mexico BUT that will probably change again
