So we're quickly running out of money, and with the wedding in a month and a half, we were just not going to have one. Then we decided, well, maybe if we can find something relatively inexpensive, we'll do it.
We love to go camping, but it just didn't seem 'honeymoonish', so I thought, maybe we should rent a cabin in the mountains, if it's not too expensive?

Lake George is really nice. We were there last year for a wedding. You'll have a great time!

I love lake george so much.. I used to go there every year as a kid.. we went for about 13 years straight and then the 14th year my parents decided to take us to bermuda instead.. i was SO mad and upset!!! I haven't been back since but FH and I are planning to go next summer..I <3 that place. The lone bull has the best pancakes

Yes pancakes rock. I actually just tried the healthier version...Whole Wheat Pancakes.. I don't really recommend it. Anyhow you have to go to the lone bull for breakfast.. haha I love that place!!

We are in the same boat as you - worrying about money for the wedding and not booking the HM yet. We're actually just going to book right after the wedding - we might have to wait a lil bit to go, but consider that if you don't want to just book something.

I went to the travel agent yesterday and priced a whole bunch of stuff including Bora bora, St Lucia, Mexico, etc. And Dominican Republic (Punta Cana) was the cheapest there was. I think we are going to book the honeymoon package at a new resort that opened in October called majestic Elegance. The total with airfare for 7 nights came to a little under $2800.00, and that's with the special area that is adults only, and it's oceanfront. Just some food (sausage) for thought my dear Suzanner!
