Any suggestions as to where to go for our honeymoon at the end of July? My heart was set on Sandals St. Lucia, but after looking at the website I think it'll be a little too pricey. I'd like to stay under $5,000. Also, not sure cruising the Caribbean around that time is a good idea with hurricane season.

hurrican season is all the way through to october u'll be fine. if anything happens they detour or reaccomodate. i wouldnt worry about hurricanes. cruises are great i love them! ur foods included and that saves a lot of money right there. u could probably book now to get the best deal on the cruise and if the price goes down before final payment they will adjust it.

i wouldnt be too concerned with cruising at that time.. its not exactly the peak of the hurricane season. ~what about a cruise that goes to St. Lucia??

aruba is outside the hurrican belt so that might be a better bet

yup i agree, i been there during hurricane season and not during it and the weather was basically the same!!! always perfect!! no hurricanes...
oh and im staying at sandals st lucia the regency for 8 nights and in the honeymoon grande luxe beachfront room and with airfare its only just over $5000.... so if u were to stay only 6 or 7 nights, or in one of the less expensive rooms, it should stay under $5000 if ur heart is really set on st lucia

We are cruising around the Caribbean at that time and I'm not concerned at all...if one port is not safe to go to then they take you to another one.
I'd definitely recommend a cruise!! FM me if you have any questions, we are cruising Royal Caribbean.
ETA: Our cruise is 9 nights and its probably going to be around $5000 after we add in drinks and souveniers and excursions.

we booked our HM in aruba. its an all inclusive resort, and it was under $5000. i dont remember the name of the hotel but u can FM me if u want more info. hope this helps!!
