Where is everyone going on their honeymoons? I just looked into Aruba and got quite a sticker shock so I am open to suggestions.

Re: Honeymoon
We're planning on going on a French Polynesian cruise. It's a small ship (holds only about 300 pple) and goes to Tahiti, Bora Bora, Moorea, etc. It's definitely pricey though!

Re: Honeymoon
we're doing mediteranian and egypt cruise for 12 nts and a pre night in rome. two weeks of heaven!!
Italy is one of the few places I haven't been that I am dying to visit. The only problem is that I am overwhelmed planning this wedding ( 5 month engagement ). I am not sure that I have the energy to do the research. I always make sure I am getting the best deal, check all travelers reviews ect. Plus I may not have the amount of time off that I would like for that trip.
On the other hand is Aruba. It is a bit pricey ,but not the worst and you get a 99% guarantee with the weather. I have been a couple of times and it is a consistent beautiful day . From what I read it rains only a few days a year, no hurricane season, mid 80's year round with a breeze...and that is exactly what I had everytime I have been. We loved the RIU Palace all inclusive. Awesome, awesome, awesome. I hear that the restaurants are so good in Aruba that many opt out of an all inclusive deal but like all-incl. and we still go elsewhere if we want. The island is comfortable and safe and there is a lot of exploring to do.
Im adding a few pics from the last visit to RIU
