honeymoon

For those who went on your honeymoon, where did you go, and how was it? I have always wanted to go to Hawaii but now the fiance wants to look into other places... I want something relaxing and tropical, with activities and fun things to do.

We are going to Bora Bora and Moorea. Beachy, but I don't think there are tons of activities.

Aruba is beautiful. Going for our hm in December. One of the few places with very little change in weather all year long. Hawaii is awsome too.....more to do but also much further. both are a bit pricey but worth it

who did you book your honeymoon through... we are looking to go to Bora Bora as well and haven't started the planning as of yet.

We're going to Fiji.....very relaxing & very tropical! FM me if you want any info

ETA: Also lots of activities like snorkelling, kayacking, nature hikes, volcanoes, zip lines, visiting native villages, etc. etc.

Mongie- Fiji sounds cool.. is it as expensive as Hawaii, and how long is the flight?

Aruba also sounds good... I guess I always just thought that nothing compares to Hawaii, but now the fiance wants to look at other ideas as well. I guess I have to be open minded and compromise!

We're going to Bora Bora followed by a few days in Vegas on the way home, I can't wait! We both really wanted to go to Bora Bora because it's supposed to be so amazing . . . but I was worried about getting bored there, which is why we added on Vegas. We considered Hawaii but I think it's somewhere that could be a family vacation down the road (I don't feel that way about Bora Bora so we opted to go there for our honeymoon).

We went to France -- three different cities over 10 days... one in the mountains, one in the south (although we drover all over) and then 4 days in Paris. It was amazing. We went on local tours, pedal boating, kayaking/canoeing, spent time at a film & theatre festival, and took a cooking class!

The best thing to do for your honeymoon is something you both enjoy and love -- it will mean so much that way!

we are going to moorea and bora bora as well. moorea has more activities then bora bora, so we plan to do more activities there and then relax on bora bora, with a few activities. as its going to be extremely expensive!!!

i would have to go to new zealand!!! i was actaully looking into that, but its too cold during the time we would be going.

We are paying about $9000 for 2 whole weeks, including breakfast at the hotels, but no other meals included
