FH and I are going to Couples Swept Away in Jamaica. Definitely check it out because you could go for like 7 days and get a sweet room for around $5000 and it's all in-clusive.

Re: Honeymoon

We booked back-to-back cruises on Royal Caribbean. FH doesn’t fly so my HM options were limited. We’re leaving from NY (well, Cape Liberty NJ actually) and doing a 5 day cruise to Bermuda and then (on the same ship), doing a 10 day cruise to the Eastern Caribbean (St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Haiti and Puerto Rico). It came to about $3100. That doesn’t include alcohol or any excursions that we do in any of those locations.

I thought that was a great deal. Even if we spend $1000 on alcohol and excursions, we’re still under $5K and it’s a 15 day HM.

HTH!

Hawaii and California for about 2 and a half weeks. We haven't booked it yet though so I'm not sure exactly how much it will cost, but I'm assuming somewhere in the 10k range.

Look into Secrets Maroma. It's in Riviera Maya, Mexico. It has the most beuatiful beach/pool/suites- I am obsessed with it.

I've been to Secrets Capri and my parents have been to Secrets Silversands and we had nothing but amazing things to say about all of the Secrets. If you are looking for a relaxing luxury beach HM -you can't go wrong with Secrets Maroma!

Re: Honeymoon

We have a similar budget. We have looked into a few different ideas, but it seems the cruise option make the most financial sense.
We're planning on a Southern Caribbean cruise with Royal Caribbean- it goes to Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Marteen, St. Croix and Antigua. It leaves out of San Juan, so we're hoping to spend a few days in Florida 1st, then fly from Florida to San Juan on sail-away day

The 7 Night Cruise from a balcony room for both of us is just over $2,500

ITA! We looked into 2 really beautiful places in Mexico -- Secrets Maroma Beach, and Excellence Playa Mujeres. They were really nice - the 2nd one has a 2 story suite with your own huge jacuzzi on the balcony.

Re: Honeymoon

We are going on a European Cruise for 20 days.
Its leaves from Rome and goes to Livorno/Florence, Italy; Monte Carlo, France; Barcelona, Spain; Madrid, Spain; Palma de Mallorca, Spain; Tunis, Tunisia; Palermo, Italy; Naples, Italy; Rome, Italy; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Korfu, Greece; Olympia, Greece; Santorini, Greece; Epheseus, Turkey; Athens, Greece; Messina, Italy; Rome, Italy

Afterwards, we are going to spend 1 full day in Rome and then travel to Venice where we will spend a couple of days and (if i get my way and am lucky, we will go to Florence too!)

without airfare, the cruise itself was $11K
we are expecting to pay another $2,500-$3,000 in airfare and at least another $1500 in cruise excursions. We don't know how much the hotels in Rome and Venice will be since those prices are not out yet.
Total this HM will cost us close to $18K
