I thought we had our hm all figured out and then I started reading a ton of reviews and now I'm reluctant to go with this resort. Do you ladies have any other honeymoon ideas/suggestions? Thanks :)

Which resort?
and also while I always read reviews, I would take it with a grain of salt. I find people are much more likely to write a negative review and rant about a negative experience than a positive one.

Re: Honeymoon
Where were you going to go? I always read those reviews too and I alwayssss freak out before the vacation. People are just wayyy to picky and are very particular. Be easy going and relax and have fun.
No matter where you end up booking, there are going to be at least a few bad reviews. The same is true with restaurants. Do lots of research before booking, but don't get too upset that a few people didn't like staying there. Also keep in mind that some people are really difficult to deal with, and their reviews could reflect that (for example if they complained about every little thing to the wait staff, reviewed the place and said the service wasn't accommodating enough).

Re: Honeymoon
Christina, opinions are like aholes... everyone has one!
I forget where you were going, but every single place has bad reviews.... even the FOUR SEASONS! Honestly, when we were considering Hawaii I read up on every hotel and could not believe there were ppl upset with things at that level, but it does happen.
Chin up!

Re: Honeymoon
We are looking at the Majestic Elegance in DR. I know that everyone's opinions are going to be different. Some people are looking for certain things when you go to these kinds of places. For me, it's not so much the drinking as it is the food. FH and I LOVE to eat and try different foods.
A friend from work recently went to Paradisius and said the food wasn't great..
We won't starve, that's for sure.
Thanks for your help ladies. We still haven't booked anything, so I think we'll leave our plans as is for now.
You ladies are the best!!

Re: Honeymoon
Even places within a chain are all different so don't stress it too much. For my honeymoon I am going to Excellence Playa Mujeres.

Re: Honeymoon
I just booked Excellence in Punta Cana DR. They got really good reviews and the place looks beautiful.
