Honeymoon

Hi Ladies:

Were starting to look into our honeymoon and we decided on going to Aruba.

Has anyone gone there and have any reviews/insight on hotels and activities.

We are undecided if we want to go all inclusive. I'm researching both on what is offered and what isn't and if it's worth us doing all inclusive.

Also, do you think it's best we do it on our own or will it be better to contact a travel agent????

Side note: we only need the hotel stay and activities. Airfare is being gifted to us.

I went to aruba and it was amazing. It was a little on the expensive side but amazing... this steak house el gaucho was incredible. also I went with a bunch of girls and we did the tattoo boat that was the most fun on the entire trip. Not romantic deff just fun! our hotel was amazing... too bad it was years ago and I don't remember the name i'll see if I can find it in any of our pictures at home.

Try pricing things out on your own first and gauge what things cost, then contact a travel agent and see if you can get a better deal with them or not. A plus about travel agents are they may be able to get you upgrades/extras, especially if they send a lot of their clients to to these resorts/hotels. If you're interested, contact Melissa from tripguy. A lot of ladies have used her for their Aruba honeymoons, and I've used her myself for my honeymoon to Europe.

We went to Aruba last summer, we stayed at the Riu, it was amazing. It's all inclusive, and perf for us. We did go out to shops and restaurants also, but for breakfast, lunch, after dinner, etc. the all inclusive is worth it. I want to go back!!

My FIL's went to the Riu last year and they loved it, I also know a couple that is there on their honeymoon moon and they're having a great time! It is all inclusive.

FH is dying to go to Aruba. We were talking last night about possibly looking into the Hyatt because we have a lot of points with them from our credit card. It looks beautiful but pricey and it is not all inclusive.

Thanks Ladies. I'm going to look into all the activities and stuff and do some research. The Riu was one of the places on my list so far and hearing good reviews about it makes me like it more.

We are going on our honeymoon to Aruba! Actually probably right before you we are going November 3! Staying at the Bucuti and Tara. My FH has been to Aruba, never that specific hotel though. The travel agent I worked with says every couple she sends there loves it. Look it up on tripadvisor, its the number 1 hotel on there. Plus, Aruba has great restaurants and things to do. It's also not terribly far which is good because I hate sitting on planes for a long period of time. We are going there for 7 days then taking a plane over to St. Maarten for 3 days. Good luck w/ planning!!

It's a beautiful island, I would skip the travel agent and go to www.tripadvisor.com and look at travelers pic/reviews for Aruba
