I posted this on the tahiti thread on the honeymoon forum, but i wanted to post it here too...let me know what you think. Thanks girlies!.........................
You guys, i need some advice. Basically for the same price (with what we want to do) we could stay for 4 days in moorea, 4 days in an overwater in bora bora at the new Intercontinental, then come home with 3 days left over before we go to work, OR........
do 4 days in moorea, 3 days at the bora bora novotel ( an intermediate size/type room), and then 3 days in an overwater bungalow at the new I.C. in Bora Bora, and we would get home late on Saturday afternoon, leaving us one day to recover to go back to work.......
What do you think? FH wants to come home earlier. I think this is the one chance we have to take a 2 weeker so why not live it up? I dont know, having 3 days at our new place will be nice too........

Re: honeymoon advice
Personally I agree with you...I would go for longer.
It sounds great either way

Re: honeymoon advice
Go longer, when are you ever going to get back to Tahiti. Also, 8 days is not enough IMO. Its a 13 hour flight there and back.

Re: honeymoon advice
I agree with you. Stay longer. You only get one honeymoon. Make the most of it. You'll catch up on sleep during the week and following weekend.

Re: honeymoon advice
OMG!! Go for longer!! We're going to be staying 5 nights in the new IC in Bora Bora...I am SO in love w/ the pics on their website!!! If it's the same $, then go for it! We're going to Moorea and Bora Bora, and we're choosing to stay 3 nights in Moorea in a deluxe beach bungalow (not OW) at Pearl Beach and then 5 nights in a OW at the Thalasso (new IC-opens in May '06)

Re: honeymoon advice
The thing is.....i could have 4 nights in an overwater as opposed to 3, and some time to recover from jet lag..... 9 days as opposed to 11...not too much of a difference. This is TOUGH!!!!!!!!
