Honeymoon advice.

Honeymoon advice.

We are getting married in Sept. Of 2012 and we can't decide where to go for our honeymoon. We don't want to spend more than $5000.00 and we want to do something out of the norm, so not like Hawaii. Maybe something like Australia. Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thanks!!!

Sept is a good time to go to Thailand. The flight might be pricy but you can do the rest of your HM well within your budget. Also, if you didn't want a beach, I rec Budapest. It's just as nice as Prague with a lot less tourists and lower prices. Hope this is some help!

If I had that much time, I would just stalk the jetsetter and living social deals and wait for something to show up and take it. They have some amazing stuff. you just have to be willing to jump on it.

You could also do one of the boutique resorts in the caribbean like Jade Mountain in St, Lucia. That looks like quite an experience

I was also thinking maybe Punta Cana you get a lot of bang for your buck and not like EVERYONE goes there :)

Punta Cana is gorgeous and cheaper than other destinations. In September you also get low season plane ticket pricing!!! We're going Sept of this year!

We're September also - Aruba is supposed to be beautiful at that time. For Eurpoe destinations, I've read that Greece is amazing!!

I'm thinking tat the flight to Europe and beyond will be at least $1,000 per person so you may be able to get more for your money in the Carribean.. but it all depends on how long you want to go for and what kind of places you want to stay in.

No not yet, I wanted to have some idea of what I wanted first. I didn't want them to just try and sell me anything. I actually did consider Australia but, the flight kills like 4 days. 1 each to fly and one to recover LOL. I think that trip has to be like a two week one at least. With our jobs we can only be gone like 10 days max. The good thing about the Caribbean is that the flight is not that bad and it's usually fairly cheap for like the best rooms and stuff. Compared to other places at least.
