heres another dilema. My FH cannot travel outside US because he is not a citizen, nor does he have a greencard yet. He has been here for 7 years for school and work purposes. We asked for advance parole but in ny the wait is 3 months. so given that, our honeymoon will have to be in the US. Our schedules are complicated, which is why we only have 4 days off. anyone outhere recommend a good place to go. I was thinking of vegas, or naples florida. I hate traveling on a plane for more than 4 hours. I cant think of anywhere nice. We need a beautiful place to relax, enjoy the sereny. I dont want to rent a car, and do driving, just relax. anyone out there with some kind of advice i greatly appreciate it. thanks

Re: honeymoon advice
September is a hard time. Check what the weather is like is Sand Diego or Napa Valley CA. Both are supposed to be beautiful and relaxing. Also check the weather for New Orleans, there is so much energy, so many great resturants and is a lot of fun. Vegas is also an option, just look into different things to do, because you might get bored with the casinos. You can visit the Grand Canyon and Vegas in one trip. Good Luck.

Re: honeymoon advice
What are the rules to the US Virgin Islands?
What is your budget like? There are some amazing Florida resorts. If you've got $$$ to spend, check out http://www.littlepalmisland.com/.
Can you do Puerto Rico? Or, you could do Boston, or even stay in a ritzy hotel in the city.
Personally I think a bed and breakfast anywhere would be really nice. Maybe the Poconos or the Jersey shore.
The Florida Keys are nice too, and so are the islands off of Washington near Seattle.
What about New England. I love New England! Rhode Island, Mass., Maine, they are all beautiful. Newport Rhode Island is particularly beautiful. There are also plenty of places in the Adirondacks, like Lake George, that are beautiful.
There's lots of places to choose from on Long Island too. Shelter Island, Montauk, Amangansett, the north shore-they all have excellent places to stay.
If it was me and I only had 4 days, I'd try to keep the travel time to a serious minimum.

Re: honeymoon advice
Marco Island in Florida or the Keys; Niagra Falls (US side); Napa Valley; New England states (especially if the wedding is in the Fall);
