Honeymoon Baby!!

I just found out I am PREGNANT!!!! I am so excited! Turns out since we took our honeymoon late - that this is a honeymoon baby! I am still in shock!

Where do I start? I made a OB/GYN appt? Anything else I should do?

You all have been so great in helping me plan my wedding - now we can share baby stuff!

Since you already have an appt. with your OB, then you will have your prenatal vitamin prescription taken care of, so that is good.

Secondly, you'll want to start reading as much as possible about pregnancy and all of the changes that you and your body will experience. It helps to not have any surprises during this long process, but that's just my opinion.

I really enjoyed reading 'A Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy.' It is very down-to-earth and light-hearted. It made me laugh out loud. You can also pick up What to Expect...and What to Eat When You are Expecting. These two books are much more technically scientific, in terms of describing the pregnancy/labor process, but they are useful resources no less.

There are tons and tons of pregnancy websites. I happen to love BabyCenter.com for advice on different pregnancy issues like morning sickness, different prenatal tests that are available, etc. The Labor of Love is good too. I used PregnancyDaily.com for my pregnancy calendar online and I loved reading what was happening to the baby and my body each day.
