My fh is a landscaper and our wedding is at the end of March, when he starts his spring clean-ups. We want to go to vegas for our honeymoon, but we have to do it before the wedding. Is this ok? I feel like it wont be the same, but if I dont do it then I have to wait until Jan. 07 for my honeymoon.
Personally I would rather wait.... We have been on a couple trips since we got engaged but it doesnt seem like our honeymoon.... just a trip.. you want it to signify something....I would do something, even for two nights, after your wedding and save up for that big trip in january
you gotta do what is right for you but in all honesty, after all that planning, and especially the two weeks up to the wedding, you are stressed and a lot of people find that they need that break desperately AFTER the wedding is over. i know many people who delayed it for a few months and took a three day weekend.
If we do vegas first, fh said he will take me somewhere the day after the wedding for a couple days. The only reason I am thinking of doing vegas first is because who knows if we are going to be able to go next january, and then I'll lose out.

One of my BM's did that. She went to Hawaii in August for her honeymoon, and got married in October. She and her FH had moved to Arizona, and all of the guests were coming in from New York, so she planned a week of activities for them following the wedding since she had no honeymoon to jet off to.
My cousin did this because her and her FH were both in the military. They went on the honeymoon and came back 2 days before the wedding... they were well-rested, stress free, and got to spend the weekend of their wedding relaxing. It worked out well for them. Their bridal party took care of all the last minute things that needed to get done the week of the wedding
i wouldnt label it a honeymoon then. the other girls are right. waiting will give you something to look foward to. plus you dont want to end up eloping in vegas. haha but im sure what ever you chose will be great
