This sounds amazing! My parents cruised on the Solstice. It looks awesome and they loved it. I'm glad you get the two days in Venice, it is truly a magical and romantic city!

It was a loooong time ago (13 years ago!), but I remember Venice like it was yesterday. It's a relatively small city, so I think you will get to see most of it in the two days. I had the most fun walking through all of the shops and seeing the locally crafted items (pretty things made of glass, as well as cameos if I remember correctly). My favorite memory is sitting in the Piazza San Marco and eating a big ice cream sundae at a cafe right in the square, and watching the pigeons. They were EVERYWHERE!!!!!!! And they were not shy. It was crazy lol. I was a super picky eater at the time so an ice cream sundae is probably the best memory I have of food--- I ate a lot of gelato on that trip!!!!! lol. (Hint: straciatella is vanilla with choc chips... I think I ate it twice a day when I was in italy lol)

We also went to this famous bar whose name is escaping me and had a drink called a Bellini.. I remember it was good, but I was 13 and hadn't much experience with alcohol so I can't really say if it was worth the hype or not....hehe.

Anyway you really can't go wrong in Venice.. everything is gorgeous!

No, but I would love your feedback after the cruise. FH and I are waiting until a year after the wedding to go on our post-wedding honeymoon.

That's one of the cruises I will be looking at and if celebrity is good, it would be a def. consideration. We absolute love cruising together. I hope you have a balcony! International waters are amazing when you have a balcony.. just the 2 of you..
