Honeymoon Budget? Are we paying too much?

The average cost I've found for 8 days and 7 nights is 6,000 after flights, hotel, and some sort of food plan/food money. Is that normal?

i think it depend on where you going. but to be honest i think that that price is amazing! sounds like a good deal, where are you guys going?

depends on where u are going u can get it for less but that sounds about right

We want to go to Aruba. at first I said it was rediculous to go to Bicuti Beach because its not all inclusive, so we'll end up spending about 200 a day just in food (a dinner average there is about 120 per couple from what i hear), so it was about 6100ish. then i realized the riu came out to about 5500 after flight and room/all-inclusive. Now I dont know whats a better option. So confused

go all inclusive it includes EVERYTHING food drink snacks deserts every and anything under the sun and its unlimited!!!!!

I've done the NOT all-inclusive trip... NEVER EVER again!!! You end up spending sooo much more than you plan for. I definitely say go with the all-inclusive, just make sure it's a 24-hour all-inclusive. (I didn't even know that some weren't)

good idea ... thank you!! FH just said he agrees... we're not going to want to be on a coctail budget on our honeymoon

Hmmm, I am not sure because we haven't started thinking honeymoon yet. But I am hoping to get an All-Inclusive with airfare for under $5,000, hope that is possible!

Yeah all inclusive 24hrs is good. I stayed at Riu ocho rios, they are a nice chain of hotels, riu puts there properties on nice beaches.
