I know I still have 6 months, but I'm starting to stress just thinking about honeymoon clothes and what to bring. I am a horrible packer (i pack ENTIRELY too much!!!). We are doing disney for 5 days and a week in mexico. I'm thinking i'll bring like shorts, tanks, capris, sundresses, a couple of nice dresses/outfits, etc. I'm going to need 500 suitcases
What are you girls planning on bringing? I like shopping too much, so i'm sure i'm going to spend a fortune on all of this.

Re: Honeymoon Clothes?
Depends on where I go. If its in a hot place where theres sand and the beach, then (from experience I always overpack) just a few sun dresses, maybe like 2 'out on the town' getups, and then tons of wife beaters. I love to wear them when I go on vacation in the sun. So easy and they look great whether you're at the beach or just walking around.

Re: Honeymoon Clothes?
We are 99.9% sure we are going to aruba and I'll probably back shorts/tanks, bathing suits, sun dresses and a few nice dresses and a couple skirts. I always over pack and I'm notorious for packing last minute. I'm so bad with that stuff

Re: Honeymoon Clothes?
I ALWAYS overpack with cute dresses, shoes and outfits, but end up spending the majority of my time in a bikini, the same pair of shorts and a tank.....
I'll definitely bring a few of those things but I'm gonna really try to keep my load down!

Re: Honeymoon Clothes?
I always overpack, especially when it comes to shoes!! I usually designate 1 suitcase to shoes and bags! lol Especially if you go to a warm destination where all you wear are flip flops- i bring a ton because you can fit so many in the nooks and crannys of your clothes!

Re: Honeymoon Clothes?
I envy you girls going to the Carribean because you can fit SO much in your suitcases with the little summer clothes. I am starting to freak out because going to Europe for 15 days is DEF going to be tricky to pack for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Honeymoon Clothes?
I just finished getting almost everything for my HM (also warm weather location) and here is the new stuff I bought - this is not a complete list but will give you a starting place!
1) Bathing suit (one bikini, one speedo for active stuff)
2) One fancy dress (for a fancy dinner - from Anthropologie), several more casual dresses (from Banana Republic, VS and some that I already own)
3) Tank tops (from VS and the Gap)
4) Cardigans and an extra hoodie for windy days (the Gap, VS, some that I already own)
5) Casual skirt (Anthropologie)
6) Tunic (lightweight but still covers my arms - from Bloomingdales)
7) Waterproof tote bag that zips on top (from Bloomies - try Longchamp medium or large size or sportsac stuff)
8) Bathing suit cover up (from VS)
9) Make sure you have appropriate undergarments for your new clothes! I bought two new bras, one sports bra for days when we are sightseeing.
10) Black pants and a black skirt (for dressing up)
11) a few 'going out' tops (can be worn with black pants or skirt, or just jeans)
12) Lounging around clothes (I got a new robe and strech/yoga pants, everything else is stuff I already own) and a nice worn in pair of jeans
13) Active sandals (I got tevas) for sightseeing, etc.
14) Comfortable yet dressy shoes

yeah i packed ALOT, dh and i had about 4 suitcases between the two of us well 2 real big ones and 2 medium ones plus i had carry on lol.
Caribbean you can do lots of sundresses, shorts, tank tops, bathsuits and mostly will be fine.
As far as what i packed. Lots of Dresses both daytime and evening, even some a bit more formal. Jeans, regular pants, skirts, lots of shoes, light jackets. All types of shirts such as daytime short sleeve, long sleeve, dressy shirts, cardigans and tons more.
we had to do 2 outfits a day. Daytime activities then when we went out at night.

Re: Honeymoon Clothes?
I pack one top per day and usually enough pants/skirts where I can wear one of two of them twice. Then I pack 2 nice dresses. Enough to fit in one carry-on.

You totally need to go to the Betsey Johnson at the Deer Park outlets. They had all of last years line for $25 each piece. I got such cute summery dresses for a fraction of the cost.
