Has anyone been to Costa Rica? We are booking our honeymoon there, 5 nights in Arenal and 5 nights in Guanacaste...any hotel/excursion recommendations?
I have not been to Costa Rica, however, we are looking at the Riu Palace in Guanacaste for our honeymoon. I have stayed at other Riu's and they are wonderful. I highly recommend The Riu Palace Resorts.
We looked into it for our honeymoon but decided we wanted straight up beach relaxation so ended up going in a different direction. We will definitely make a trip there soon though! Friends of ours rave about the Four Seasons Peninsula Papagayo. Definitely look into staying there. They also loved Arenal but not sure where they stayed!
We are doing the same thing for our honeymoon. We are staying the Arenal Nayara and then Playa Conchal. I have heard wonderful things about both. We were also looking at Tabacon in Arenal because one of my friends stayed there and loved it. If you look on Nayara's website, there are a bunch of ideas for excursions in that area!
