I have a question....when are you leaving for your honeymoon? Are you going the day after, or are you waiting a little while after the wedding to go? I'm just thinking about work, and taking off in between the wedding and honeymoon. I think it would be more exciting to have the wedding and then run straight off to the honeymoon!

We'll have one or two days between the wedding and the hm...just to got ourselves together!! No way I can think of packing for the hm on top of all the other craziness of the week before the wedding...

it depends on whatever works out best for you. I was going to 2 locations and wanted to make sure we were in both locations during a weekend, the only way to do this was to leave 5 days after the wedding so this is what worked out best for us. To make up for it we stayed 2 nights at a hotel after the wedding.

we are getting married on a saturday night and are leaving monday morning for our HM, so we have a day to unwind and relax

thats what we did and it worked out perfectly. Dh's family was fro OOT, so we were able to have breakfast with them at the hotel the morning after the wedding. It was nice to relax that day and then we went for a late dinner at a friends restaurant. The next day we left for the HM. A friend of mine went pretty much straight to the airport from her wedding and she said that they were exhausted when they got there.

We left for our HM literally hours after the reception ended! Reception ended at 11 on Sun night, our flight was at 7am Mon morning. If I had it to do over again, I would have waited until later the next day... we only got to sleep for about 2 and 1/2 hours which resulted in a 16-hour sleepfest as soon as we got to Antigua! I definitely would've waited till at least the afternoon or even the next morning.

our wedding ends at 5 on a sunday... so we're leaving the following day in the morning ... if i had a late night wedding, i definitely wouldnt have done that

The wedding is Saturday night and our flight leaves at 6 am Monday morning!
Most of our guests are OOT so we wanted to be able to visit with them a bit on Sunday and I also didn't want to stress out about packing for my HM and getting all the last minute stuff done for the wedding. I wanted a little bit of a break.

Our wedding ends at 12:30am, we have to leave for the airport by 4:15am for a 7am flight! we didn't want to waste anytime :) We're going to antigua for 10 days then to Disney for 3! Can't wait!!! 54 days to go!!!

I want to leave a day in between, I would like to do a brunch with the family the morning after the wedding and then finish up any last minute things that we need for the honeymoon.

Our wedding ends at 6pm Saturday, and we are leaving Sunday early evening. This gives us time to sleep in, have brunch with our family the next day, take care of some last minute things and be on our way!

Our reception ends at 6pm on Saturday and our flight is the next morning... we decided on that because we were able to get a direct flight to St. Lucia. If we waited a day we would have had to connect and we really didn't want the hassle!

we left two days after our wedding. It worked out that that was when we got the best rate for our flight. Plus I had family in from oot and wanted to spend the next day with them.
