FH and I are really on a budget when it comes to our honeymoon. We are just splurging in so many areas and unfortunately this can't be one of them, however, we would still really like a nice memorable getaway, that doesnt make us cringe when looking back lol. We were offered a possible timeshare opportunity by a friend but we are awaiting to see if they will work with our dates. I have read mixed reviews on the place so I am keeping the options open.
For those of you that researched and/or booked your honeymoons...did you come across any affordable options, if so, please share?!

As cheap as we can get without it being cheesy I would say lol...we are looking to spend maybe$3000 for an all inclusive.

You can try Sandals. They are always having sales up up to 70% off. Good luck!

Mexico. You can get a lot for 3000 there. FH and I went to secrets capri in rivera maya 2 summers ago and paid about that total for both of us (maybe a little less. That's including flights.) and had a great great time!
eta: it's an all inclusive and you would have this kind of room (the jacuzzi looks so cool!):
DELUXE - RESORT VIEW * 1 king or 2 double beds
Double Jacuzzi Balcony most with a hammock Liquor dispenser contains whiskey, tequila, rum & vodka Mini-bar containing sodas, bottled water, juices & domestic beer In room wine and fruits
LCD TV with satellite Purified Water Farouk bath amenities Bathrobes & Slippers Digital safe (laptop size) Individually-controlled air conditioning Coffee Maker Direct Dial telephone Alarm Clock Hair Dryer Iron/ironing board Wireless Internet 24 hr room service Turndown service Maximum Occupancy: 4 guests, including children & infants
* It is not available to any type of group.

Re: honeymoon destinations
if you're getting married in May, you might want to watch out for honeymoon locations that might have hurricanes .... (i'm really not sure when they start ... just saying).
how about you take a cruise somewhere? They're generally not too pricey and all food is included.
We're take a 2 week cruise to Hawaii

Re: honeymoon destinations
I know sandals resorts always have some kind of deals goin on. And they have great prices! Last year a gf and I went to mexico for about 6 days and it came out to about $800 for an all inclusive resort plus airfare.
