Have you guys booked your honeymoon? I am a January Bride, so the places I can visit are limited (as a lot of places are in winter, as we are!)
But I am debating between Australia and Costa Rica! Has anyone been to either? I found this amazing resort on Travel Advisors best hotels 'Nayara Springs' you can see monkeys, sloths & tons of more wildlife right from your suite :)
Where are you gals all going or thinking about??!
Some warm weather to dream about... while we are about to get hit with more snow ;(

That sounds fun! We are looking at all inclusive beach resorts, primarily sandals. I would love to go to Australia but I don't think I could get my fiancé there lol, he thinks every insect there is out to kill us haha. I'm leaning the most towards the Sandals in Antigua and possibly the newest one in Barbados. Just somewhere we can totally relax but still with a few fun excursion type stuff. A friend of mine went to Costa Rica and loved it, really a great spot if you like to do sporting activities.

Yes the Barbados one caught my eye.. two of my friends went to sandals in st lucia and said it was amazing, best one they have ever been too!!!!
if you are looking at Antigua, I saw hertimage bay, it is a boutique hotel not as big as sandals, but very very secluded.. my friend is going there for their honeymoon this march.

Ahhh...both are nice! I'd go to Australia if I ever had the chance! Unfortunately my FI doesn't like to fly so for our honeymoon we'll be going to the Caribbean.

We went to Costa Rica in 2013 - it was an amazing trip. Did not top Alaska but for the adventurous side of us, it was perfect! So much to do and see. We are thinking of doing a 3-week honeymoon to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and it that doesn't work out, 2.5 weeks in Hawaii! We are waiting until summer of 2016 since I am a teacher.

We went to Costa Rica this summer. We stayed at the Riu Palace. It was an amazing vacation. We saw & did so much! It's definitely somewhere I'd recommend

We're going to Tokyo, but waiting until the Fall, since we're invited to 6 (yes 6!) other weddings this year!
I applaud you for thinking about Australia. The travel time is just too long for me. Toyko is about 13 hours non-stop and that's my limit!

Went to Costa Rica years ago - one amazing place to visit. I've kinda travelled all over with my family and my FH with his so we kind of wanted to go to Thailand but I don't think that's a really great 1 week trip The sandals resorts look great I was actually looking at Barbados or Grenada!!

I would look up the best places to visit during January. I am a November bride so my choices are limited (its still hurricane season). But we have chosen to go to Aruba! (but I haven't booked a resort yet). Barbados is my other top choice. I am awaiting more reviews from the new Sandals resort in barbados but it looks fabulous!
