HONEYMOON FINALLY BOOKED

well after debating where we would go for a year and a half, we went to a travel agent and booked our honeymoon to Mexico! I am soooooo excited! the place looks amazing. YAY

guess i should add that we are going to stay at the Excellence Riviera Mexico.

my only advice:

if you like really good drinks, get them all from the martini bar in the main lobby. javier and joel (jo-el is how it's pronounced) are the best bartenders there, JMO

the beach on the club side less rocky, so it's actually enjoyable. may change by the time you go, but if not, be sure to check it out.

don't go for a couples massage if DH is feeling ill he was sick on the plane to MX, and tried to do everything too soon. i still enjoyed my massage, just ****** to see him w/ chills on warm beach.

take the trip to tulum and xel-ha. so worth it!! tulum has the best beach, and xel-ha is tons of fun (esp if you're not a chicken sh1t like me)

Excellence Riveria Maya is amazing!

We did the couples massage, it was great but the girl sort hurt me a bit

The food is amazing. We did the Chicken Itza all day tour and that is totally worth it. The hotel also gave a complimentary shopping tour. You will have an amazing time
